Korean Completes Grand Slam of Mountaineering
The Korea Times reports that South Korean Park Young-seok reached the North Pole which would make him the first person to climb 14 8,000 meter peaks, climb the seven summits, and reach the North and South Poles.

Wow, that’s amazing. Koreans surprise me all the time. If an American accomplished that, it would’ve been on the national news. Oddly, I didn’t even see it on BBC and they are a bit better when it comes to international news.
Grand Slam is right! Hope there is a book in the works about this enduring adventure. Any other good links that go into more detail about this?!
