Climbing films

by Tom Markiewicz on January 1, 2006

I found a very cool site that posts original climbing videos called Climbing Films. The videos on the site run the whole range of climbing from bouldering to ice climbing to indoor gym climbing. Climbing films also has an RSS feed for the videos added to their site. From the feed, it looks they’ve been adding about two new videos per week over the past few months. The videos I’ve watched are pretty good, but the site lacks two features to make it really useful. First, it needs a search feature and second would be to sort videos by climbing area/location. I’m usually most interested in climbing videos of a particular location so I can either get a feel for an area or reminisce about a climb. Not being able to easily do this on Climbing Films takes a little bit away from its attractiveness as a site, but overall it’s still a good resource.
