Superclip review

by Tom Markiewicz on June 18, 2006

Wired Nut has a review of a new stick clip tool, the RockTools Superclip. Looks like it may be a better alternative than the Trango Squid.

Has anyone actually used this yet?

I’ve never used one or even seen one in person. I’ve been satisfied with my Trango Squid, so I haven’t been in much of a hurry to check it out. I would like to hear more reviews of the Superclip though.

For anyone who is interested in a field test by industry tester Andrew Bisharat, you can check out the January 2007 Rock and Ice magazine. He gave it a 4 star rating.
Peace everybody!

Yeah it looks like it could be awkward. We’re coming out with a carabiner that would make that piece of hardware obsolete. Check it out at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Metamorphic-Climbing/36285506760

I have had mine for a few years now and I love it! I got mine at http://www.rockclimbingtools.com

I’ve never heard of the Metamorphic carabiner. Guess they went out of business, huh?
