Thanks for the great info! I have a Black Diamond Mondo pad that I love, but it is a little difficult to lug around sometimes. Your post is a great argument for a smaller pad.

making fun of “pad people” is a sure-fire way to get yourself killed. seriously. those dudes are all strapped. after the first 50 Cent album dropped, bouldering was forever changed.

thanks for the review. having seen the competition (organic half), however, I would have to say i’m somewhat unmoved by the Revolution pad. it’s not that it’s a bad pad, but the Organic foam is sooooo durable it’s ridiculous.

I used to make fun of you pad people, and your odd pad people ways. But, this last weekend my partner brought a pad (Fat Bastard?) along and we used it whilst bouldering after a day of roped climbing, and, uh, it was actually a lot of fun!
