I think they could easily get more volunteers if they just thought outside the box a bit. How about some free swag? It wouldn't even had to be big stuff. Or maybe a volunteer after-party with some free beer and the opportunity to mingle with organizers, other volunteers, and some climbers? Despite the huge number of climbers in the Boulder area it seems like they have had a hard time getting volunteers which is too bad. I saw a lot of parents volunteering Saturday despite already having paid huge amounts of money to be at the comp in the first place.
