  1. Thanks for the link/article. One quick comment here (since i couldn’t leave one at the article site)…any decent cyclist can tell you WD40 is NOT a lubricant (as the article seemed to insinuate that it might be an option).

    WD40 is used to penetrate corrosion and/or drive water out of metal/metal contact areas. But it is definitely not a lubricant.

    Go with a decent lubricant for proper gate function.
